Bio

Dr. Debbie Myers received her doctorate in chemistry from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She joined Argonne National Laboratory in 1989.  She is currently the leader of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Materials group in Argonne’s Chemical Sciences and Engineering division (www.anl.gov/profile/deborah-j-myers).  Her areas of expertise include, Electrocatalysis of fuel cell and electrolysis reactions, Materials development and characterization to improve the durability and performance of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells and electrolyzers, In situ and operando X-ray spectroscopy and scattering techniques, High-throughput methods for materials synthesis, characterization, and performance optimization.
