Simon Cleghorn is a global product manager in the electrochemical product’s business at W. L. Gore and Associates. He has 25 years’ experience working in the field of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells: leading projects, working as the technical leader for the business at Gore and is now in a global business function. Within this time Simon has authored over 30 publications, including 2 book chapters and presented at numerous international conferences. In addition, Simon was an organizer of the Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell Symposium at the Electrochemical Society between 2005 and 2009.

Dr. Simon Cleghorn received this BSc from the Portsmouth University in Applied Chemistry in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from the University of Southampton in 1992. He then performed post-doctoral work in electro-synthesis at Sandoz Chemicals, before joining the pioneering polymer electrolyte fuel cell team at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1995.
